K’in Alchemy is committed to engaging and inviting the communities of the 23 Aldeas that compose Antigua, Guatemala to participate in the collective pursuit of sustainable water solutions rooted in cultural knowledge, environmental stewardship, and long-term resilience. As part of this commitment, K’in Alchemy seeks to implement a community-centered survey and assessment process to better understand the changing realities surrounding potable water access, water harvesting, drainage systems, sewage infrastructure, and sustainable water management throughout the region. This initiative will document how these evolving challenges impact families, agriculture, public health, education, and daily life in the present, while also identifying the social, economic, and environmental consequences communities may face moving forward. Through collaboration, education, participatory dialogue, and community-driven action, K’in Alchemy aims to help cultivate equitable and sustainable solutions that protect vital resources, strengthen resilience, and honor both ancestral wisdom and future generations.
